It’s Not The Smart People Who Do Things…

It’s the People Who Do The Things Who Look Smart

Are you someone who quickly gets frustrated and overwhelmed by difficult tasks? Do you feel the pressure to constantly be the smartest or most talented person in the room? If so, it's time to take a cue from those who have achieved great success. The truth is, it's not always the smartest or most talented people who achieve success - it's the people who take action and do the work.

Smartness and talent are not the only qualities required for success. Performance, determination and a willingness to learn are also essential. Those who reach the top display a sense of fortitude in the face of adversity and strive to reach their goals. They take the initiative to do the hard, often boring, work that leads to success.

Success is often not the result of sheer genius or innate talent, but rather of hard work and dedication.

“It's not the smart people who do the things; it's the people who do the things who look smart.”

Being smart isn't enough. You have to be willing to invest the time and effort to do what it takes to reach success.

Making progress, no matter how insignificant or small, is the key to success. Habits are powerful tools and those who focus on getting better, one day at a time, will eventually see the results.

The old adage, “If you do what you love, you will never work a day in your life” is true. But don’t equivocate this to mean that you shouldn’t work hard - it's the opposite. Work with purpose and intention. If you have passion and devotion to what you do - if you take action and persevere - you will succeed.

Smartness, talent and intelligence may be important, but when it comes to achieving success, it’s not the smart people who do the things. It’s the people who do the things who look smart. Hard work and a willingness to put in the effort will ultimately get you to where you want to be.
